The hunt season runs from Mid-September through March and is divided into a
cubbing and a formal season.
Cub season is for the entry of puppies and serves as a start for new or young
horses. Members are permitted to cub hunt. The dress code for cub season is rat
catcher (horse show attire).
The formal season begins with the Blessing of the Hounds, at the end of October
and continues through March. This is the time for pink coats (formal attire) on
Saturdays, and rat catcher during the week. Hounds go afield on Saturdays and
Wednesdays, as well as occasionally on Mondays and some bye days.
Visitors are welcomed.
